Conclusión del tema FILTRACIÓN NATURAL Y FILTRACION BIOLOGICA

Conclusión y utilización en acuarios:

Por estos motivos en los acuarios  plantados, la 
filtración biológica no es imprescindible y pasa a un segundo plano produciendo muchos beneficios.
_ reducción de Amonio y Nitratos.


_ oxigenación.


_ alimento y remedio incluso por ello las comen hasta carnívoros.


_ reducción de CO2 o Dióxido de Carbono. 

 

Por lo contrario un acuario sin plantas o con muy pocas tendrá ciertas contras : 
_ Producción de Nitratos constantes que obligan a cambios de agua periódicos.


_Reducción de Oxígeno pues lo consumen las plantas. 


_ Acumulación de CO2 que exigue aumentar la oxigenación..

 

Por todo lo expuesto la recomendación es tener un acuario bastante plantado donde las bacterias o filtro serán un complemento.

Ej:" La planta Lemna giba  (lenteja de Agua) elimina el 50% del amonio, de una solución con nutrientes, en 5 horas aunque la concentración de nitratos supere en más de 100 veces al amonio, tras consumir el amonio pasará a reducir nitratos.

La Elodea nuttalli consume el 75% del amonio dentro de las 16 horas, para luego pasar a absorber los nitratos. " ( Fuente:  “Ecology of the Planted Aquarium” 2nd edition, 2003 por la Dra Diana Walstad )


Y como la población bacteriana no será tanta sus efectos negativos se reducirán teniendo lógicamente una mejor calidad del agua...
Tampoco digo no utilizar filtros, ya eso depende de las especies de peces que haya ( algunas especies ensucian mucho)  y población.
Por último comentarles que reproduzco y tengo muchos acuarios amazónicos y en todos no utilizo filtros por la densidad de plantas que tienen. Sólo aireador.
Por ello las plantas se alimentan y crecen tapizando todo porque la población bacteriana no es excesiva y pasa a no ser demasiado necesaria , pues cosumen sólo el Amonio que las plantas no asimilan..
